Community Service

We at Morton's Auto and Truck Repair strongly believe in giving back to our community.  We do this through participation in great existing community service programs such as Charity Cars.  Morton's Auto and Truck Repair is a proud participant in repairing and donating repaired vehicles to the Charity Cars program.  The vehicle in the photo to the right is our latest donation to the program.  For more information on this program as well  as another program we are proud to participate in, click on one of the links below.

Charity Cars

Charity Cars is a new nationwide program that helps victims of domestic violence and abuse gain their freedom through theMortons Auto Participates in Charity Cars Program donation of refurbished cars in which Morton's Auto and Truck Repair is proud to participate. This unprecedented vehicle gift program is sponsored by the warehouses, parts stores and certified service centers flying the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper flags.

Morton's Auto and Truck Repair participates by assisting with repairs for donated vehicles as well  as accepting donated automobiles for this  program.  These vehicles will benefit former victims who have escaped a domestic abuse environment and now require financial help in the form of basic, reliable transportation but cannot afford to provide it themselves.

The entire group of Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper shareholders, along with hundreds of parts stores and certified service centers, has allied with The Original 1-800-Charity Cars organization (Charity Cars, Inc. a 501-C-3 non-profit charity, FED ID #59-3362703) in a massive project to seek, secure, and refurbish vehicles to be presented to over 500 qualified recipients at grand award ceremonies to be held throughout 2007 in various locations across the nation.

The Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Charity Cars Campaign is believed to be one of the largest single charitable vehicle donations to victims of domestic violence in history.

If you have a vehicle you would like to donate, or if you want more information, contact Morton's Auto and Truck Repair at 812-945-5880 or send us an email at

Toys for Tots

When we think of the holidays, we think of seeing the sparkle in our children's or grandchildren's eyes when they open their presents on Christmas morning.  However, for some children in our community, this would not be possible without organizations such as Toys for Toddlers.  Buy a gift for a less fortunate child in your community, donate it to Toys for Toddlers, and make the holidays just a little brighter for a less fortunate child.

Toys for Toddlers is a gift-sharing program sponsored by participating Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper parts stores across the U.S. Parts stores serve as official drop-off sites for new, unwrapped toy donations during November and December. Morton's Auto and Truck Repair is proud to participate in this program an serves as an official drop-off site for donations.  Toy donations can be for any age child, and are organized through local social service agencies to sort, organize and deliver toys to the children most in need since they are best qualified to identify the disadvantaged children in the community.
